About us

Who are we?
We are a small team of young men sharing an interest for football. We dedicate our time to retrieving information regarding injured and suspended football players in the best European leagues. We have been online since 2005, and have a great deal of experience, huge network and detailed overview of cyberspace in football related matters. This knowledge enables us to provide you with the service that is EFIAS.com, European Football Injuries And Suspensions.

The two keywords we have found important concerning injuries and suspensions are speed and trust. We always try to provide the latest information as fast as possible, and making sure said information is trustworthy.

Our vision is to continue expanding the number of supported leagues with no drop in quality. At the moment we support the following four leagues and tournaments: Danish Superliga, English Premier League, Spanish Primera Division and the German Bundesliga.

What is the meaning of the text connected to the players?
Beneath each player there are two lines of text. The first line explains which type of injury or suspension the player has. The second line is the more important one, informing you when the player will be fit for play or when his suspension is ending.

Where do we find our information?
Our information is collected through a lot of official and non-official sources. We possess a huge database of internet websites worldwide, combined with a network of contacts in various countries to inform us of local newspapers and media. Finally, we read all of the most relevant national and international sports newspapers. We always make sure to double check information provided by non-official sources.

How often do we update our site?
EFIAS.com is updated daily, and we follow the latest news during both day and night, making sure our information is as up-to-date as possible.

How trustworthy is our information?
Regarding injuries, the information from the press will always be a subject for discussion. The only person who can be entirely sure of the injury is the player himself, and even then he may wish to feed false information to his coach, who will in turn inform the press falsely as well.

In these cases we hope that you will understand the few mistakes that can and will occur during a season. Likewise, if a player is included in the match-squad and no specific official information is stated by the team, coach or the player himself, he will NOT be considered injured, regardless of the rumors.

Due to these issues, acquiring completely accurate information regarding injured players will not always be possible, but we will be doing our best to get as close as possible.

What is the small red/pink icon next to some players?
That icon indicates that the player is unavailable due to a suspension, and not an injury. It will be displayed next to all players that are out due to disciplinary regulations.
