Injuries hit Chelsea at a crucial time

The mid-week games had its costs on the list of injuries among the top clubs in the English Premier League. Andre Villas Boas is struggling hard to find his preferable four in the defense, and while Ashley Cole has a lack of form, his colleague Jose Bosingwa has ruptured a muscle and must now be sidelined for a yet unknown time frame. Likewise John Terry will be out for another six weeks leaving Chelsea’s defense vulnerable.

The German Bundesliga is approaching the 23rd round this weekend. There are great news for FC Köln as Lukas Podolski is returning after having been injured for the last couple of rounds.
